Summer updates for Early Explorers and Social Shop

A message from Social Moments:  

"Hey everyone,

We wanted to provide you an update on all things happening across the summer holidays: 

Early Explorers – Tuesdays at Rackheath

For those of you who usually attend our Tuesday Early Explorers sessions, we’ve got some exciting changes for you all. 

 We’ll now be offering a small pop-up Social Shop stall during Tuesday mornings at Rackheath Pavilion, on top of our current food pantry offering. If you bring your membership card, you can shop from a range of affordable food items and still receive your free surplus produce too.

 Looking Ahead for Early Explorers 

As this is our first year running sessions at Cantley, we’re learning what works and adjusting as we go. We won’t be running our usual Early Explorers sessions at Cantley during the summer holidays, but we’ll be back in September with all our usual fun and messy play. 

In the meantime,  we know that many of our families really benefit from our weekly pop-up Social Shop. So, if you’d like to use the Social Shop through the summer, just hit reply and let us know, and we’ll make sure you’re included in the Cantley Thursday collection group or, to make things easier, we’re offering a weekly collection point every Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Cantley Village Hall car park.

Here’s how it will work:

Orders must be placed by Wednesday at 10 a.m.

We’ll pick and pack your order on Wednesdays with help from our amazing volunteers. On Thursday mornings, we’ll meet you in the car park of Cantley Village Hall with your bag of items. Each order will also include a free surplus bag with bakery items and any fresh fruit or veg we have available.

If you’d like to receive an order form and be included in this service, please reply to this email and let us know you’d like to be added to the Cantley summer list. We’ll then send you full instructions and a weekly form to complete.

And if all else fails you can join us every Wednesday at our Studio in Rackheath, where we open our Social Shop to everyone 11am-1pm.
